Feb / March 2019

It has been a busy few months. I have enjoyed all sorts of trips out and about.

Snowy walks

Countryside walks

Lakeside walks (editors note: not so much lake-side as in the lake). I like the look of your bacon sandwich!

I keep being told I am a clever boy. Off to Cambridge! The sign said stay off the grass so I did (nothing about not going on the wall)!

Not quite so reserved on the beach - it is so exciting.

Agility is also exciting...

Time to fuel up for the next lot of adventures. Bring in the Easter holidays!

January 2019

Hello 2019. Where will you be taking me? A walk in the woods sounds like a good start.

I wonder what is in the log pile. Rabbits like to hide - I wonder if there are any in there...

Does my bum look big in this?

Sadly there were no hidden rabbits but I did find some hidden food in the corners of of this sack!

I used my extra energy for my agility and got a win at my first competition of 2019.

December 2018

Oops - I have been so busy enjoying the mild weather I forgot to write my blog!

I have been on so many walks it is hard to choose - Ashridge, the Forest Centre, Marston Thrift. Here I am walking along the embankment on my way to Priory Park.

I had a good friend over to stay. She joined us for Christmas Eve camping. I was really hoping she had been good so that Santa Paws would come. We curled up together - very toasty!

Phew - she had been good! Presents arrived!

Lots of fun and games were had. Nemo-fish was not so keen on this game for some reason...

Who can get the most wet and muddy?

I managed to fit in some agility as well.

Back soon with the first edition of 2019!

November 2018

Look at me - up there on the wall! I had an amazing time with Katrina Wilson - super pet photographer on my photo shoot in Ampthill Park. Now I can admire myself and remember what fun I had (and think about "spanielling").

Regular readers will know I LOVE going for long walks and exploring new places. This seemed like a good place to go!

And when you have finished walking, another activity to try is swimming. I promise if you let me off my lead, I won't chase the ducks...

Another long walk in the sunshine along the Grand Union canal in Milton Keynes.

Some days it was a bit wet and cold so I made do with a toy duck.

I have been enjoying agility competitions again (and have even stopped sniffing in horse arenas)!

Here I am all snuggled up in the tent, dreaming about agility and my super photo shoot.

September and October 2018

Despite it being term time again, I have been so busy I didn't get round to writing my blog in September. This was partly because we went to one of my favourite places.

I was so happy! Ball! Swim! Sea gulls!

I have been on several trips away - camping and in a B&B. Did you know dogs can do the "starfish" and take up a whole double bed?

Other trips included a train ride to Tring (to walk at Ivinghoe Beacon and Ashridge). There were many many squirrels to chase!

Sometimes the fun begins at home - I had a friend to stay. The tug-toy was not so keen on this...

Even with all these adventures going on, I still managed to fit in some agility. I am happy with coming 11th at the British Championships, a win at the Dog barn and a 4th at Oakridge.

Time to put my head down now and plan what I would like to do next month!

August 2018

This month has been VERY busy. I went on holiday to Wales for a few days and then a longer holiday to Yorkshire / Cumbria.

Here I am the highest dog in Wales (and England). It was great fun climbing Snowdon!

I went for a very long walk this month!

Guess what..? I found water!

I also found scarecrows - very odd as they are not scary nor are they crows... I tried to liven them up by barking and chasing them but it didn't work.

One of many parts of my adventure.

Some parts had added interest - I liked the look of the next field...

Sniffing out the way ahead.

All this walking made me very hungry. You mentioned the word "food"?

After all that exploring, we made it to the end (a little bit wet, this time from the rain).

When we reached the Lake District, we had a few days before returning home. A boat trip round Ullswater was nice...

but even better was jumping around in Ullswater!

Finally it was time to snuggle up and rest my paws.

p.s. When we got back, the results from the national ABC agility series had been published. Very happy with my 7th place :)
