May 2017

The sun has been shining lots so I made the most of the lovely weather with a very good friend of mine.

And of course there was another camping trip, this time to the Derwent Valley. It was a combined agility and exploring trip. I am now Grade 3 in agility!

Exploring Dove Dale (a special day out for my birthday). You did say I could jump in didn't you? Too late!

These were very tempting but I was very restrained (by my lead).

Now this I don't understand - in the middle of the countryside there is a human traffic jam. I am clearly demonstrating a quicker and more fun way to get across. But oh yes - for some reason humans don't like to get their feet wet!

After all that exploring, I was very happy with these presents.

Home at last! Recharging ready for my next round of adventures.

April 2017

This month has been amazing! It started with a camping trip to Weymouth. I love the fact that the beach is only three minutes walk from the train station. Now please throw the ball that is in your hand!

Look at the great big hole I just "found".

OK - maybe it was me...

Enjoying Lulworth Cove.

Feeling the wind in my fur. I also made a new friend who has an amazing life because he lives on the boat.

All this exploring and playing means a daily recharge is needed...

...especially when there are also agility competitions to go to. I am feeling very speedy at the moment (all that "recharging" did me good) and I won into Grade 2!

March 2017

This month has been AMAZING! I went for another camping trip including a trip to the local pub. I was given many many treats from the locals who were watching the rubgy!

I have also been enjoying going out with Ashridge canicross club (and one of my friends has joined me). So much fun but exhausting too...

A huge highlight for me has been my trip to Crufts to take part in the canicross display. There were over 6000 people in the main arena but I was not fazed at all and had great fun towing my human around at spaniel speed! Watch me go - Scroll to 2:54:20

I enjoyed Crufts for more than just the canicross...

And finally, to top off a fantastic month, I got this at the Dog Barn competition. Hopefully more to come over the summer...

February 2017

In contrast to most people, I love February. When it contains agility, camping, hiking and beaches what is there not to like?

I always love a trip to the beach but this time not one but two new additions to the day out made it even better!

After a day trip to the seaside it was time for the first hiking trip of the year. I love a train ride - peak district here I come!

The first day was a bit wet so I really enjoyed it when we found a pub to camp at with a lovely open fire.

Lots of exploring followed over the next few days...(by the way, I LOVE water)!

Sadly, the trip was over because half term was coming to end but I can't complain when the butchers near the train station sells whole carrier bags of bones for 25p!

January 2017

The year started with a splash - hopefully a sign of many exciting things to come this year.

I enjoy playing games - hide and seek anyone?

The canicross race was hard work but fun!

I have also been camping - the campsite had its own woodland walk and a small lake  I hope to return one day!

Soon winter will be over. I like to make the most of the daylight by going for lovely long walks especially when I discover new things. I had never seen one of these before!

December 2016

Christmas Camping! Here is my home for the night of Christmas Eve. This means a guaranteed long walk in the morning!

I must have been a REALLY good boy this year as Santa Paws managed to find me even in the tent!

It was a windy walk home. I experimented with some new hair / ear styles at the viewpoint on the hill.

Wow - Santa Paws had been to my house too. Yippee - must open it quick!

There have been a few cold walks this month - I find this to be a very helpful solution.

I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog this year, after all...

Postscript - 2017 is looking good already and has started with a SPLASH!

November 2016

The weather may be getting colder but this has not stopped me having fun. Here I am on my most recent camping trip all snuggled in my sleeping bag.

It was a misty start to the morning (and a bit chilly) but there is no way I would miss out on a walk around Grafham Water.

It was fun walking and digging in the leaves.

Later on the sun came out - I enjoyed the view from the wall then headed for the water...

When there is so much water, it would be rude not to go in!
